Its that time of year again for the Freshwater and Estuarine Research Group to slip off their waders and slap on a Santa hat for a night of punk rock extravaganza. Tonight was headed up by the seldom seen, raucous and rowdy blokes of The Tokyo Sell, supported by the FERGs very own The Fergalators. Opening up the night and making a mighty splash into the Sydney music scene was up and coming obtuse punk sounds of The Girts.
The Girts
Starting as an underground rumble inciting many a demolition house party, The Girts have erupted onto the Sydney scene are ready to wrap their unique blend of punk chaos around anyone in earshot. Follow along here.

The Fergalators
With a revolving door of science talent, this group of misfits swap test tubes and lab coats for guitars, keys and bellowing vocals to crank out a Wurlitzer’s worth of favourite punk pop tunes.

The Tokyo Sell
Rock n Roll dogs that have seen a bar or two, The Tokyo Sell ripped out some crowd pleasing pop punk tunes, whipped up the crowd into a thirsty frenzy and dripped a SydHarb of sweat onto the tiny (but absorbent) Loft stage. See the type of chaos that you missed out on here.
